Fall is upon, time to be thankful

As we approach a season of thanksgiving, I have many things to be thankful for as I transition from the world of higher education into sports ministry. A lot of great things are happening, not only personally, but also through the Push The Rock ministry. This new season of life can be summed up by Ecclesiastes 8:15-16:

“So I recommend having fun, because there is nothing better for people in this world than to eat, drink, and enjoy life. that way they will experience some happiness along with all the hard work God gives them under the sun.”
Therefore, I am very excited to share some of things I’ve gotten to be a part of over the past month.
It was a bittersweet ending to my time at Liberty University. I am truly blessed for the experiences and friendships made during my time. Ecclesiastes 7:8 sums up my time at Liberty, “Finishing is better than starting.” The Lord definitely prepared me for this next chapter of life over the last four years there.
In preparation for sports ministry in Italy, I will be spending the next few months in transition. This time has included spending a week in Denton, TX for Pre-Departure Orientation (PDO). PDO was an incredible time as I got to rekindle some relationships for the beginning portion of this missionary process along with build relationships, especially with two families that will be serving in Italy as well. Overall, the Lord use this time to challenge and encourage me in various ways. For those of you who have been following me along this journey, I am one step closer to the mission field now that PDO is completed.

The time together was amazing as we got to hear what the Lord is doing across the different ministry areas along with create a vision for 2020.
I will be spending the next few weeks in Emmaus, PA at the Push The Rock headquarters working on various ministry projects for Italy and serve in numerous school programs across the Lehigh Valley area. I am excited to see how the Lord will use my time here and how I can be an encouragement those serving out of this office.
As I conclude, I want to leave a few prayer requests:
  • Time in Emmaus, PA and transition
  • Needing to raise $2600 monthly giving
  • Desiring God wholeheartedly
  • Getting Ordained to start the Visa process

I am so thankful for you and your willingness to take time to read this. I would love to pray for you over the course of this month, so please feel free to send me any prayer request to pcameron@pushtherock.org. In addition, if you would like to receive monthly email updates please let me know.
